INTERVIEW & MOCK CLASS

1. Prepare a non-distracting virtual setting: quiet environment, plain background, and well-lit space
2. Make sure your devices are functional (e.g., laptop/computer, webcam, headset)
3. Make sure you are connected to a stable internet connection
4. For the interview, the questions will revolve around your teaching experience and how you would handle different types of classes and students
5. Please prepare for the mock class and review the teaching guidelines beforehand
6. Ten minutes before the appointment, you will be able to enter the classroom and familiarize yourself with our classroom
7. The session normally lasts around 1 hour. However, depending on each candidate, it can last up to one hour and a half. Please plan your time in advance.

For the interview, we consider your punctuality, your teaching capability, your attitude, your ability to handle and adapt to each situation, and your availability to teach.

For the mock classes, we evaluate your performance according to our rubric. Our criteria will be provided in the teaching guidelines. We look into varied aspects of your performance e.g., class setting, lead-in & transition, approach, adaptability, lesson delivery, feedback & summary. Please carefully review the materials and teaching guidelines beforehand.

Your overall result will be co-decided between our recruiter and our coach relation & performance team. The result will be sent to you via email within 7 working days.

Not yet. You will first go through our system guidance & orientation. This will allow you to know us and the platform better. Basically an onboarding process before your first flight. Once you’re ready, take off!

TEACHING & SCHEDULING

Nope. All of our classes are online. You can teach from anywhere in the world as long as all the requirements are met.

Each class is roughly 30 minutes. It’s 25 minutes for the lesson and another 5 minutes for completing the report after class.

Our typical class is a one-on-one style so you can focus fully on one student. We do offer group classes with a maximum of 4-6 students per class. However, these are normally offered to coaches who are already in the system and meet our requirements for a larger group of students.

You might. We let the booking up to our students. They can choose when they want to study and who they want to study with. So you will get to teach the same students again if they love studying with you :)

Our scheduling is very easy. On the coach website, you will have a schedule page where you can allocate slots during your availability. Just click to open or close the slot > save the schedule > Done! Until it has been booked, you can adjust it anytime.

All bookings will be on your dashboard. It includes the student and class details for easy preparation.

We require at least 6 slots per week, which is only 3 hours!

Yes. Our probation period lasts 2 months with at least 75 classes conducted.

PAYMENTS

This depends on where you live. The most common ones we use with our coaches are PayPal and direct bank transfer.

The payment will be made monthly. Every transaction will be done within the 5th of every month.

Your payment will be calculated from the accumulation of the completed class reports each month. After a class starts, you will have 24 hours to complete your report and 48 hours to edit it. So just remember to complete them after classes in order to get paid.

Once you submitted the application and passed the initial screening, you will receive a  scheduling email for the interview & mock class from us. It will include the appointment details and mock class instructions.

The coach will be fully paid for classes that are canceled less than 3 hours by students prior to the class start time (The class report must be completed in time). If the student cancels more than 3 hours before the class time, your slot will be available for other students to book.
